Needed Supplies:
- Marblelife Soap Scum Remover
- Marblelife Mold & Mildew Stain Remover
- A clean rag or sponge
- An old toothbrush
- A large cup or container for poring rinse water
- Clean microfiber towels or other clean soft towels
Step 1 – Scrub Everything
Begin by applying ample amount of Soap Scum Remover to a clean rag, cloth or sponge and scrub all surfaces in the shower including the tiles, grout, metal and glass. As you scrub you will feel the surface change from slightly sticky to slippery. This means you have removed the soap scum and you can move on to other areas. Using a soft bristle brush, scrub the grout joints, corners and around edges of shower frame, faucets and drains.
Step 2 – Rinse & Inspect
After scrubbing rinse the shower with clean water from the shower head using the large cup or container. Rub the surface with your hand or clean cloth to help rinse off. After rinsing, visually inspect and feel with your hand the surfaces to see if you are done or if there are any areas that still need attention. Repeat step 1 and 2 if any area still needs attention. If all appears good, proceed to step three.
Step 3 – Addressing Mold at the Source
At this point there may be some visible mold or none visible. Either way there are still the hidden issues to deal with. Spray Marblelife Mold & Mildew Stain Remover onto the surfaces and into the grout joints and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Then scrub any visible mold stains and re-spray those areas again and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Repeat as needed until there is no visible mold stains.
Step 4 Rinse & Dry
Once you have finished step 3, thoroughly rinse the entire shower with clean water and dry with a microfiber towel or other clean soft towel. The result should be a visually clean and fresh smelling shower.
