How Dish Soap Can Lead To Trouble.

Dish soap is good for cleaning dishes which are not porous and can be rinsed thoroughly. Granite, Marble and Grout are all porous which means oils get trapped in the pores and must be lifted out.

Granite Counter-top Care

The problem is that dish soap when used on countertops will leave a residue. Even after rinsing with a rag or sponge several times has been found to still leave a residue. Even if not noticeable with each application, over time it builds up like soap scum in a shower to the point that the countertop begins to look dull and may even become stained from the residue build up.

Our best advice, is to select the appropriate products for your countertops. Keep in mind, just because it says its safe, does not mean that steady use will not have ill effects.

Marblelife’s Granite Countertop Cleaner is specifically designed to easily remove oils, grease, food and adhesives from the small pores of your kitchen counters or bathroom vanity. This granite cleaner is very unique in that unlike most other products, it actually removes the residues left by the other products and reveals the hidden natural beauty of your stone without the need of polishing.
